Core meets as a celebratory community on Sunday mornings. We seek to creatively retell the story of God through sacrament, song, and spoken word, rooted in divine revelation. Our gathering aspires to be God-centered, truth-driven, historical, authentic, participatory, and artistic.
We are a church comprised of smaller, interdependent home communities. Our home groups meet mid-week for teaching, prayer, food and fellowship.
Our community is socially active and seeks the shalom, or peace, of the city through acts of justice and compassion. Augustine believed that citizenship in the city of God makes us the best citizens in the city of man. We have partnered with InCommon Community Development, which is actively meeting the needs of the poor, orphan, widow, and forgotten in our city.
Our fellowship also values beauty and is artistically engaged with the city. We are seeking to renew and restore Omaha culturally as well as spiritually.
